Why is BT More Significant than Anything on Earth?
We at BTI claim that NOTHING (except for spiritual matters) is more significant and revolutionary in our world than the new science of Brain Types® (or Brain Typing®).
Why such a bold claim?
Succinctly stated, Brain Types (BT) monumentally affects every facet of society and life—whether we realize it yet or not. The proper understanding and application of this recently discovered, space-age insight can bring greater success and fulfillment than any non-spiritual action on earth. Regardless of the area in which people are involved, BT has the best and most credible answers for the proper understanding and actions to be implemented.
Consider another staggering dimension of BT: Anyone familiar with current beliefs regarding human behavior—in both psychology and science—realizes NO ONE is postulating the claims of inborn designs as does BT. They do not give ANY indication whatsoever to specific groups of ‘normal and healthy’ people being scientifically categorized cognitively, much less neuroscientifically, biomechanically, and even spatially. There is no scientific research or anyone other than the proponents of BT giving credence to various people groups innately functioning in predetermined yet unique and distinctive ways by the ‘big 4’ of human physiology (genes, brain, body movement, and vision).
Priest Gregor Mendel, known as the ‘father of modern genetics,’ boldly and radically claimed hereditary patterns in plants nearly 150 years ago. Sadly, it took many decades after his empirical discoveries and writings for the ‘science’ world to begin giving him any proper recognition—following his demeaning years of ridicule.
As BTI founder, JN has not only claimed for decades the discovery of BT but also that human behavior is more nature than nurture (approximately 65% to 35%). After assessing nearly 50,000 people over these many years (as of 2008), he is convinced more than ever that excluding one’s personal ethics, morality, or spirituality, daily behavior is principally driven by inborn genes. Just as the animal and plant worlds function primarily as a result of their genes, so do humans—even in behavior.
The claims of BT are indeed revolutionary and truly one-of-a-kind; no one else or behavioral system classifies people in such exact ways. In fact, BTI knows of no psychological approach or methodology that attempts to classify people utilizing ‘HARD’ science. Rather psychology continues to keep its personality and behavioral categories vague and scientifically immeasurable. Even renowned neuroscience hasn’t found a way yet to classify ‘normal’ people into distinct behavioral groups.
So to begin with, BT is truly unique. Of course it could be fallacious—which it unequivocally isn’t—but everyone (including cynics) must admit BT makes claims concerning human behavior that no other reputable approach takes. Second, BT goes far beyond the other methods and systems in its specificity of behavioral traits. BT goes to great detail quantifying measurable human actions (mentally and physically!). Third, BT is the ONLY approach that bases its beliefs and claims on the ‘hard’ sciences. This includes all psychology or other personality fields! To this point in time, psychological or personality theories and explanations have been strictly limited ONLY to observable cognitive functioning (mental and emotional). Thus, in summary:
1) BT is truly unique. Everyone must admit BT makes claims concerning human behavior that no other reputable approach takes.
2) BT goes far beyond the other methods and systems in its specificity of behavioral traits. BT goes to great detail quantifying measurable human actions (both mentally and physically!).
3) BT is the ONLY approach that bases its beliefs and claims on the ‘hard’ sciences. This includes all psychology or other personality fields!
Did you know that modern psychiatry, consisting of MDs’ attempting to understand and quantify human behavior, use brain imaging only some 5% of the time when attempting to diagnose cognitive disorders? Yet every other field of modern medicine uses high-tech and scientific equipment first and foremost to diagnose problematic symptoms. With this in mind, it shouldn’t be difficult to grasp why both psychology and in large measure, psychiatry, still operate in the Dark Ages. It’s difficult to imagine any other field of medicine so far behind the times.
Dr. Daniel Amen, M.D., is one of the world’s foremost authorities on the brain and has performed and interpreted more than 40,000 brain scans. His clinics hold the world’s largest database of brain scans. He is not only a clinical neuroscientist, psychiatrist, and brain-imaging expert but also a best-selling author (22 books). If anyone should know brains and the mental health profession, it’s hard to imagine a better authority than Dr. Amen.
In one of his recently-published books, “Making a Good Brain Great,” Dr. Amen sheds light on the obsolete ways of the mental health profession:
“Why are psychiatrists the only medical specialists who never look at the organ they treat? . . .The lack of brain imaging, in my opinion, has kept psychiatry lagging behind medicine’s other specialties, decreasing its effectiveness with patients, and reinforcing the stigma . . . . Can you imagine the outcry that would erupt if other medical specialists acted without looking? If orthopedic doctors set broken bones without X-rays? . . . Yet the state of the art in psychiatry, even at the end of the first decade in the 21st century, is to refuse to look at the organ it treats. We diagnose and treat patients based upon symptom clusters, not upon brain dysfunction.”
He further states, “Many people ask me why psychiatrists don’t look at brain function. Frankly, the real answer is beyond my comprehension. I can’t fathom why psychiatrists wouldn’t want more information that helps them ask better questions and make better decisions for patients . . . . Doctors should be treating, not symptoms, but rather the underlying brain problems that are causing the difficulties.”
One final insight from the many more Dr. Amen provides is, “Compounding the problem is the fact that 85 percent of psychiatric medications are prescribed by non-psychiatric physicians [or practitioners] . . . . The lack of in-depth training among these physicians [and practitioners] leads to an overly simplistic approach to diagnosis and treatment, ultimately wreaking havoc in many people’s lives.”
As Dr. Amen has identified, the psychological community is far behind the times. We believe that BT, like no other area of human understanding and analysis, can and will soon usher the mental health profession into the 21st century. For BT to warrant that its behavioral classifications are grounded in the ‘big 4’ of human physiology is truly revolutionary and far beyond other psychological approaches. Not only does BT embrace the major 4 to support its claims, but it welcomes any and all specialists in these fields to help BTI further validate and classify its many inborn explanations for individual behaviors.
Rather than seeking to be embraced by the psychological (not psychiatric) community and their scientifically incalculable methods, BT presently tries to distance itself from this ‘soft’ study of the mind. Yet BT hopes to soon assist psychology practitioners by finally providing them a scientific, quantifiable, and accurate understanding of mankind’s behavior. Once they grasp how the various inherent biological functions regulate and dictate each BT differently, a new world of human understanding will be theirs. They will then take an entirely dissimilar and first-ever scientific approach to not only optimal human understanding and diagnosis but also treatment based upon sound measurable evidence.
Many questionable if not deleterious applications of psychology will finally cease for society’s good, such as the wide-scale abuse of prescription drugs for cognitive disorders. They will no longer be administered as a guessing game or indiscriminately given. Each BT will be treated and nourished based upon its unique physiological condition (identified by brain imaging) as well as inborn cerebral makeup (or BT). Also, many fallacious cognitive therapies (of the 250-plus in use) will be tossed to the wind. Science will be able to accurately identify each BT not only through genetics, but also by analyzing innate brain, body and visual functions—enabling people to be treated based upon their individual and inborn biology. Obviously, this is not the practice today in orthodox psychological circles. In conclusion, evidence suggests that no explanation for human behavior can compare with BT.
Before we briefly consider how BT has put its beliefs through painstaking scientific analysis, does it make any sense for a charlatan to attempt validation of his behavioral theories and claims by seeking the ‘hard’ sciences for answers? Hardly. A quack or scam artist would avoid scientific scrutiny at ALL costs. Yet BT and its chief proponents strive for scientific substantiation more than any their endeavors. If BT cannot be firmly grounded in real science, it wants NO part in society. Yet until every ‘T’ is crossed and every ‘I’ is dotted, BT cannot sit on its findings and deprive society of its unparalleled benefits. Can a disease cure be hidden? Not if we care about helping mankind. As stated up front, we (unapologetically) believe that nothing is more significant for our everyday lives than BT (except for spiritual matters).
BT goes into great scientific detail quantifying its many inborn mental and physical traits. It relates its cognitive processes, motor movements, and its various visual functions to numerous and precise regions of the brain. These lengthy claims are solidly supported by the latest neuroscientific research. BT knows of no claims it holds that are refuted by current and reputable brain research. Instead, BT cites scores of the most respected studies that strongly correlate to and uphold the framework of BT.
Knowing that BT could only be conclusively proven by genetics, BTI began this research at a highly-esteemed university in the middle 1990’s and has continued this exploration until the present. BTI also collaborated along the way with private biotech companies to expand areas of DNA investigation. Yet we knew long ago that at least 3 additional areas of human biology correlated with BT, so for a few decades we have also closely researched brain function, motor movements, and vision capacities.
Until the past few years, it was not possible throughout human history to analyze the human genome searching for BT markers. Despite this enormous and recent scientific advancement, excessive costs and limited technologies in 2008 still inhibit genetic and BT explorations. Yet BT has finally cleared its first major genetic hurdle; it has discovered distinct signatures for some of the 16 inborn designs! By securing additional funding and improved genetic technologies, BTI is quite hopeful that all 16 BT can soon be biologically identified.
BT radically claims that nature drives each one of us more than nurture. Also, it claims that human nature can be classified into 16 concise categories, dictated by inborn genetic factors. As we’ve cited, these 16 categories have separate indelible cognitive, motor, and visual skills. In other words, each BT thinks, moves, and sees in a predetermined, precise, and unique way!
What if this is true? Yes, it’s a big IF, but what IF it is true? What would be the implications?
How about starting with you or your family? How might this impact your daily lives as you attempt to find joy, fulfillment, and success? Using a canine analogy, what if you’re actually a greyhound but you’ve long believed you’re a poodle since you were raised by one as your surrogate mother? As a greyhound you’re actually innately programmed to perform very differently than what you’ve been taught and doing much of life. What if you could know for certain how each person you meet throughout life is genetically designed to perform, especially with your family, or you?
How could this help you (and others) as an employer, employee, parent, spouse, student, teacher, athlete, coach, friend, enemy, stranger—you name it—in ANY phase of life? Not only can you know what you’re innately wired best to do (and not do), you can also know which strategies are best for your BT to achieve optimal motivation, success, and peace of mind. If you cannot see how BT could have life-changing benefits in every area of your life, feel free to contact BTI for assistance.
Summing it up, mankind will soon realize that BT is more significant than any other non-spiritual issue—finally grasping the astonishing and inborn dimension of human behavior. BT has done more to establish the scientific basis for mans’ actions (both mentally and physically!) than any other approach known. It appears that we’ve been intelligently designed with an accompanying responsibility from above to properly understand human behavior. This heavenly knowledge should radically change the way we all view and treat ourselves, and one another. Therefore, BTI believes it has an obligation to share this information.
If you can find another approach that compares to BT in seeking ‘scientific’ explanations for normal human actions (mental or physical), please let us know.
